What a unique and comfortable hotel. I stayed here about 8 days so I got a great chance to enjoy all the features of the hotel including the breakfast buffet, the dinner service, in room service, the spa, the gym, and the lobby lounge with the club and speakeasy being a special surprise! The rooms were very interesting. The bedroom was its own separate space to the left of the foyer. It could be closed off from the foyer which was relatively small, and the bathroom. In the foyer was closet space and mirrors and the room safe. All well positioned to be out of the way in the room. The bathroom had a glorious shower with a rain drop head and a hand held jet. The rain drops were such a life saver at the end of our long days. My bathroom was tiled in black so it has a very moody, and mysterious atmosphere, especially at night. It really liked it because it was just unlike anything I’d ever experienced before in a hotel. The bed was super comfy, the sheets were soft and cozy. My one negative remark (and this really is only a thing that an American would complain about) is that the television channels were all in other languages. So, there wasn’t really any good TV to watch other than CNN. They did have a way to connect to an Apple TV or connect a tablet to the Apple TV but I didn’t figure this out until my last day so I didn’t get a chance to take advantage of that. And even if I did, you can’t use American based YouTube and Netflix accounts in the EU because of licensing, etc. So, I would have had to have downloaded everything anyway which is nonsense. So, I just stayed busy outside of the room and I was just fine. The gym was pretty nice with treadmills, bikes, a full compliment of barbells and weights and a couple of complex machines. There was space to stretch and do Yoga as well. It was a nice gym, located down in the basement so it’s kinda secluded and comfortable. Just down the hall from the gym was the pool and saunas. They were very busy most of the time I was there with tons of people lounging on the extra large chaise lounges. There was a pool bar down there as well and folks were generally very, very happy and engaged at the pool for hours at a time according to some of my colleagues. Across from the pool was the massage service. I got a deep tissue massage. The funny part was the whole time the therapist was working on me I kept asking her to focus on this one area that was bugging me. She kind of worked it a little but then would move off that area and worked other areas around the place I wanted her to focus on (which was my lower back, upper hip flexors areas). But she still worked me over really thoroughly. After the massage when I was settling the account I mentioned that I had wished she would have worked that area more and she apologized and smiled. I tipped her the full 20% because she was “sweating” over me for a solid hour and really did a great job. And of course, later, I realized that she had totally done exactly what I wanted her to do by focusing on the supporting areas around my “injured” area which then caused the injured area to relax and feel much better. Moral of the story, the massage therapist knows best! It was a fantastic service and if you stay here I highly recommend getting a massage. The breakfast service was a bit expensive for my taste but it didn’t disappoint. Each morning that I went, I had pancakes and sausage and eggs. Their pancakes are small medallions, which are a just right for starting a day of work. They always had a bunch of different sausage styles, plus a juice bar, every kind of fruit and cereal and anything made to order that your heart could desire. Delish every day! For dinner we went to their Restaurant one night. We had a fabulous meal of tapas styled dishes. The food was so incredibly good. The service was attentive and efficient, the food was fantastic. Bonus was that the house DJ was having a birthday party in the bar which was next door and since we were having a later dinner, their party started before our dinner finished so we joined for a few minutes. Inside their bar is a secret bar behind a mirrored door that was super, super cool. The party was outstanding. The music was incredible. There was a music festival in town that week that was just behind our hotel at the fair grounds and a lot of the attendees were staying at the hotel so the crowd was totally hyped. The lobby lounge/bar was the center of attention every night. During the day, lots of folks worked there, collaborated there and there is a small library we used for meetings that was super cozy and quiet. But in the evening everyone got an early drink there a hung out. The bartenders and servers were super friendly and helpful in the lounge area and they were more and more like family every day! The hotel is situated in a great area near a grocery story, lots of great restaurants including places featuring German, French and Vietnamese cuisines and it’s not far from downtown Munich. This place is a highly good recommendation! I would and will be staying here again and again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Roomers. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my visit. Although the gym is on the smaller side, it is well-equipped, especially with the rack setup. The breakfast spread offered a variety of choices, including made-to-order options. I must give a special mention to Ada, who manned the breakfast service with unparalleled dedication. From remembering my drink preference after the first morning to offering personalized menu recommendations, Ada's attention to detail truly stood out. Despite the hotel's size, her level of care made each morning feel special and made my overall stay truly memorable. Ada's passion for customer service undoubtedly shines through, and she deserves commendation.

David Franser - GM was super friendly and helpful as was his assistant Yasmin. The team at the front desk was great too including Alina and Magda. Great restaurant Izakaya and superb trendy property. The gym isnwlvery well equipped and open 24 hours.

Fun hotel in a fun location

The Roomers is part of the Marriott Bonvoy family, but you'd never guess it from the boutique and hip feel and style. First off, excellent check-in experience. We arrived mid-morning exhausted from an overnight flight and were allowed early check-in even though the hotel was very busy. And the reception staff gave my wife a welcome sparkling wine and a cappuccino for me. Great first impression! Best pillows I've ever had in a hotel over dozens and dozens of stays, and I care a lot about pillows. I used the steam room in the spa and enjoyed it; the gym looked great (but I didn't use it), and they have an indoor pool and dry saunas as well. Only complaint is that the hallways are very dark. This is intentional and part of the hotel design, but I didn't care for it.

This is by far my most favorite hotel in Munich. We have been able to upgrade to a suite almost every time we have come to this hotel. The suites are amazing! The night club has always been a lot of fun, food is fantastic, as well as the service. Can’t recommend this hotel enough….just please don’t reserve my favorite room :)
